Our very own Meggie Soliman, director strategic innovations, applications at DSS and IGNITE 2024 Award winner, served as moderator for a featured Women’s Council panel at South Florida Tech Hub Pulse 2026.
Meggie moderated the session titled, “Access Granted: Insider Strategies from Women Who've Built What Others Dream.” Hosted by the South Florida Tech Hub Women’s Council, the curated conversation is designed to elevate and connect women across the technology and innovation ecosystem.
The panel took place on Thursday, Mar. 5, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM EST as part of the broader South Florida Tech Hub Pulse 2026 event.

Meggie’s role as moderator reflects her growing influence across health care technology and federal innovation. In 2024, she was named a recipient of the IGNITE Award, honoring leaders who demonstrate excellence and drive meaningful change across government and industry.
With more than 20 years of experience spanning bioinformatics, clinical research, pharmaceuticals, and federal health IT, Meggie brings both technical expertise and strategic foresight. She holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics and built a career at the intersection of biology, computer science, and health care modernization.
At DSS, Meggie leads strategic innovation initiatives focused on advancing AI, emerging technologies, and enterprise solutions that improve outcomes and modernize care delivery for Veterans.
Elevating Women Across the Innovation Ecosystem
Meggie’s leadership extends well beyond technology strategy. She is also deeply committed to empowering women and future leaders in STEM.
As a board member of Tech Hub South Florida, she actively works to connect innovators and create pathways for collaboration. Meggie is also the Chair of the Tech Hub’s Women’s Council.
Through partnerships with schools and universities, Meggie mentors and inspires young women to pursue careers in technology and innovation. She has also been a TEDx speaker on the topics of emerging blockchain innovations and the power of unconventional thinking for fostering creative approaches for IT development, especially for women in IT.
She consistently advocates for expanding awareness of the diverse roles available within tech, from strategy and product development to community leadership and digital transformation. Her work reflects DSS’s broader commitment to fostering inclusive innovation and supporting diverse voices shaping the future of health IT and digital transformation.
