Logistics and Prosthetics Suite (L&P)

 

In 2016, DSS was awarded the national contract for Logistics and Prosthetics Suite (L&P), which has realized increased system efficiencies around supply chain management processes. L&P includes DSS Above PAR and DSS Advanced Prosthetics Acquisition Tool (APAT). Both Above PAR and APAT are Class I products.  

 

LPS systems improve workflow processes dependent on AEMS/MERS, the Generic Inventory Package, and work orders.  

 

Above PAR dashboard tools and audit/reporting features enable cost management, auditing, and increased reporting capabilities.  

 

Its Inventory management capabilities provide and control the end-to-end procure-to-pay process to minimize stock-outs, reduce last-minute orders, and provide senior management with reporting and audit tools to manage inventory objectives. This provides the VA administration an in-depth, real-time view into key supplier, inventory, and procurement indicators to meet performance measures such as inventory accuracy, cross-check duplicate items, and more. 

 

APAT automates the purchasing workflow from start to finish for departments that procure prosthetics, orthotics, and other sensory aids.  

 

APAT modules provide workflow automation for creating and managing quotes and purchase orders to vendors, including electronic submission of these documents. The application also can scan and index these documents into a database and provides detailed activity reporting.
