The Association of VA Hematology and Oncology (AVAHO) exists to increase the skills and abilities of veteran-centered cancer care professionals across all disciplines so they can provide the best possible care for our veterans. Our current membership of nearly 1,300 professionals is comprised of medical oncologists and hematologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pharmacists, nurses, nurse practitioners, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, physician assistants, social workers, cancer registrars, and other allied health professionals.
