DSS, Inc. Advances Power of HIT Innovations at HIMSS 2018

Launching Juno EHR, Showcasing Interoperability Capabilities, and Advancing Diagnostic Imaging Recommendations at HIMSS 2018

With an expected 45,000-plus attendees, HIMSS 2018 is the premier event for education, innovation and collaboration for helping to uncover the promise of health information and technology – now and well into the future.  Once again, DSS will be on the forefront of bringing this promise to life at the conference.

Leveraging its more than 25-years of developing and integrating the most cutting-edge health information technology (HIT) solutions, DSS will continue advancing this legacy of bridging the gap between innovation and care quality and outcomes in Booth #4449.

The company, along with Sage HMS, will be showcasing many new innovations and HIT efforts at the conference, which include:

  • Introducing Juno EHR: Built on the top-rated most usable EHR in its class, Juno EHR will provide enhanced usability, interoperability, security, and efficiency. This new EHR is a bold step forward for helping today’s care organizations improve healthcare delivery, tackle interoperability challenges, and enhance patient outcomes.

  • HIMSS 2018 Interoperability Showcase: DSS will be participating in the “Immunization & Vaccination” and “Battlefield to Bedside” Interoperability Showcase use cases to demonstrate:

    • DSS Integration Framework is used to facilitate standardized HL7 bi-directional integration between VA’s current system, VistA, with Draeger Innovian Anesthesia as well as with LiveData PeriOp Manager™, a Commercial off the Shelf surgical solution.

    • DSS Immunization Dashboard helps a pediatrician reconcile a child patient’s vaccinations from multiple information sources, and stay on schedule.

  • Sage HMS Now Offering CMS-Qualified Clinical Decision Support Mechanism (qCDSM): DSS company Sage HMS will be highlighting how its RadWiseÒ solution is now a CMS qualified Clinical Decision Support Mechanism (qCDSM). This gives providers the ability to consult robust, evidence-based knowledge for diagnostic imaging and receive appropriate use criteria (AUC) recommendations to meet CMS regulations for claims payment.

  • Sequoia Project eHealth Exchange Pilot Program: DSS has partnered with The Sequoia Project eHealth Exchange on a new pilot program that will bridge the gap for secure relevant data sharing with government entities using the DSS Direct Messaging platform.

  • Sponsoring The Sequoia Project Reception: DSS will be sponsoring The Sequoia Project Reception in #3374, where drinks and hor d'oeuvres will be served from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
